ZESCO Corporate Affairs Manager John Kunda says the country has migrated from level 4 of load-shedding which was lasting 12 hours in a day, to level one which is between zero to 4 hours.
Dr. Kunda however says most households countrywide are experiencing Zero load-shedding.
He has attributed this to the good rainfall the country is receiving.
Meanwhile, the ZESCO Corporate Affairs Manager said 4-hundred and 80 thousand households countrywide are still receiving free 100 electricity units every month.
Dr. Kunda says this is a COVID-19 relief package from Zesco Limited to the most vulnerable and low consuming residential clients who use below 2-hundred units monthly.
He says the units are meant to ease the economic impact of Corona virus on the most vulnerable commercial and domestic customers.
