Government has ordered Avic international to redo poorly done road projects in Lusaka at no cost within defect liability period.

Minister of housing and infrastructure development Vincent Mwale says the projects were initially supposed to cost government about k16 billion

Mr Mwale says government is facing challenges in the implementation of road infrastructure projects due to limitations in resource mobilisation further stating that the 31 projects have undergone down scaling.

He says government will restructure the implementation of some of the major road projects.

Mr Mwale further says government expects works on all stalled projects across the country to resume.
